WOW has brought the love of Jesus to one million people in the inner city. The Strategy is to mobilize local volunteers, churches, businesses, and organizations to help throw a party called WOW JAMS complete with a free barbecue, music, drama, games and prizes. Love people in practical ways like giving away groceries, providing haircuts, repairing a child's bicycle, taking family photos, and rocking a baby to sleep. Then share that God loves them personally, and has a distinct purpose for their life! In 20 years, 120,000 volunteers were mobilized, 428,000 salvations each getting a bible and 15 churches were planted.
