Orange County Rescue Mission — Our vision required both human and financial capital
Well, where do I begin? You are aware that my involvement in the Orange County Rescue Mission began at a lunch at The Village of Hope where The Barnabas Group members were invited to come learn about the ministry. Several Barnabas Group members began meeting to help launch the Room Adoption Program at The Village of Hope. At the time of the groundbreaking for The Village of Hope, I was talking with the leadership of the Orange County Rescue Mission about joining their team.
We moved our support offices into The Village of Hope in March, 2007. Throughout the past 5 years, The Barnabas Group has provided time, talent, and treasure through the generosity of members. The Master’s Program graduates and The Barnabas Group members have logged countless volunteer hours, contributed invaluable expertise, and given more than $1,000,000 toward the completion of The Village of Hope. The Barnabas Group has been instrumental in getting us to where we are today.
Please pass on our gratitude to the membership of The Barnabas Group. We could not have done it without them.
