Campus Crusade's Momentum Europe appreciates the opportunity The Barnabas Group

Below, George Selden from Campus Crusade reported back to The Barnabas Group after sharing at a recent event:

I wanted to take a minute to let you know how much we at Campus Crusade's Momentum Europe appreciate the opportunity The  Barnabas Group provided in San Diego and Orange County to expose the membership to what God is doing in Europe and Russia. In just two days, close to 350 people were made aware that the continent which helped give birth to our own spiritual heritage in the United States is in need of our help to pull it back from the verge of seeing Christianity become extinct.
 
The response from The Barnabas group members was so encouraging.  Close to forty people asked to be followed up! Of those, nearly a dozen are still actively involved (nine months later) in sorting out how God would have them come along side one of our 38 national ministries by investing their labor, influence, finances and expertise in the spiritual transformation of Europe.  
 
One Barnabas Group member, who had never even been to Europe, was convicted to get on a plane in the middle of the Icelandic volcano eruption and wind his way by plane, train, and automobile to Albania. Once there, he began to explore ways in which he and his organization could help our ministry reach out to business people who are seeking role models to show them how to honor God in the running of their businesses.  He will be going back in October and again in the spring of 2011 to help build on the foundation the Lord laid though his obedient heart.  
 
This October, other Barnabas Group members will be visiting with our ministries in not only in Albania, but also in Germany, France, and Poland.  Their purpose is to discover what it looks like to join hands with European peers to help those national ministries realize the vision God has entrusted to them - creating movements all over Europe and Russia until everyone knows someone who truly follows Jesus.
 
Jim, we are truly being blessed by our relationship with The Barnabas Group; and, we thank you for making this possible.  We look forward to sharing with other Barnabas Groups as you and the Lord create future opportunities.
