Providing Foster Care Through the Local Church

FaithBridge Foster Care (previously Cornerstone Family Services) is a Christ-centered, tax-exempt corporation intent on changing U.S. foster care. FaithBridge has a strategy and a model to mobilize, organize, equip and release local churches and communities to solve our country's foster care crisis. Together, we stand in the gap for foster children and families.

FaithBridge Foster Care and the local church

FaithBridge Foster Care partners with local churches to create independent foster care ministries that address the foster care problem in that church's surrounding community. We work with the church to manage all aspects of the ministry, including training, certification and ongoing communication. In addition, FaithBridge acts as an intermediary with the state, so that neither the church nor the foster family has to interface with government agencies. But most importantly, we create within the church a small group network, known as the Community of Care^SM, which provides unparalleled resources and support to foster families and children.
